Well this is a quote that’s certainly stood the test of time! ⬆️?
Make no mistake, building a goal-supportive mindset is SO important when it comes to making positive changes – whether they be fat-loss related or otherwise! ?
Facing fear is certainly a big one; and overcoming fear is certainly easier said than done! In fact, I’d go as far as to say MOST people simply accept their fears as part of who they are, and set about building their lives AROUND them.
I’ll hold my hands up and say I’m probably as guilty of this as anyone ?? SO much of what I do is STILL driven by long-standing and engrained fears – primarily a fear of criticism and judgement from others! So much so that I genuinely don’t feel free to make my own choices at times
I guess one might argue that living with our fears (or our limiting beliefs) is ok, as long as they’re not impacting our happiness ? Which seems fair!
However, if they ARE impacting our happiness – as I know mine do at times – then we might decide to take action! That is, we might decide to step outside of our comfort zone ? After all, that’s where the growth lies.

Whatever your fears, as Tony Robbins says: “stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive about what could go right” ?
As I get older, more and more I ask myself: “what are the consequences of a lifetime of inaction?” ? And, to be honest, I genuinely find that MORE scary than facing my fears ?
